For those who value good advice, and the reassurance of having someone they trust looking after the details.
Get in touchI work with a small number of private clients, planning and managing their travel throughout the year. Some trips are complex, involving several countries, private guides and a lot of logistics. Others might simply be a few days away with family or friends.
I spent five years living and working as a safari guide in South Africa before moving into luxury travel in London, most recently managing private clients within A&K's Chairman's Club.
Choosing the right hotel is only one part of planning a good trip. The pace, the right guide, when to travel and sometimes knowing when to do less can make far more difference.
Most of my clients are already well travelled. They don't need endless options. They want someone who knows their preferences, gives an honest opinion and is there when they need them. Working independently gives me the freedom to recommend what I think is right, without being tied to a particular portfolio of hotels or suppliers.
A few of the places I know particularly well and continue to recommend to clients.
Every trip starts with a conversation. I want to understand what you're looking for, how you like to travel and what matters to you before I start making recommendations.
From there, I'll put together an initial proposal and we'll refine it together. I'll always tell you if I think something isn't quite right, or if there's a better way of doing it.
Once you're travelling, I remain involved. Plans can change, and flights, weather and logistics can all affect a trip. I'm reachable throughout, not just until you leave home.
I take on a small number of clients at a time, which means I can stay involved throughout rather than handing a trip off once it's booked.
Whether you have a particular trip in mind or are still deciding where to go, I'd be very happy to hear from you.
Tell me a little about what you're considering and I'll be in touch.
Planning arrangements vary depending on the trip and its complexity. I'll always discuss this with you before any work begins.
Yes. I can arrange flights alongside accommodation, private guides, transfers, experiences and the wider logistics of your trip.
I'm still involved while you're away and can help if plans need to change. I also work closely with trusted local partners, hotels and suppliers on the ground when needed.
As early as possible, particularly for peak seasons, specialist guides, family holidays and places with limited availability. I can also help with more last-minute trips, subject to availability.
Africa is a particular area of expertise, having spent five years living and working as a safari guide in South Africa. I also plan travel across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, the Americas and beyond.
There's no fixed minimum. I'm usually best suited to trips where my advice and involvement make a difference, whether that's a more complex itinerary, a safari or simply getting the right hotel and arrangements in place.
Yes. Bookings are made in partnership with Hemisphere Travel Group, which provides appropriate financial protection where applicable.
