For those who value thoughtful travel and the reassurance of having someone they know and trust looking after the details.
Get in touchI work with a small number of private clients, helping them plan and manage travel throughout the year.
Some journeys are complex, involving multiple countries, private guides and carefully coordinated logistics. Others are simply a few days away with family or friends. The scale of the trip matters far less than understanding what will make it genuinely enjoyable.
Before moving into private client travel, I spent several years living and working in safari lodges in South Africa. Later, I managed a portfolio of private clients in London, planning everything from family holidays and milestone celebrations to longer, more complex journeys across the world.
Those experiences shaped how I approach travel today. Beyond choosing destinations and hotels, much of the value lies in understanding the details that make a trip work well: the pace of an itinerary, the right guide, the right season, and knowing when less often leads to a better experience.
Many of my clients are already well travelled. They do not need someone to simply make reservations. What they value is having a trusted person who understands how they like to travel, who can offer considered advice, and who takes care of the countless details that sit behind a successful journey.
Over time, what begins as planning a trip often becomes a longer term relationship. The destination may change, but the goal remains the same: thoughtful travel, carefully planned and managed personally from beginning to end.
Places I have explored extensively and continue to recommend to clients.
Every journey starts with a conversation. I take the time to understand how you prefer to travel, the pace you enjoy, the level of privacy you value and the details that matter to you before making recommendations.
From there, I put together a proposal shaped around that conversation. If anything needs refining, we refine it together, and I will always offer my honest view on what will and will not work well for you.
Once you are travelling, I remain involved. Plans can change. Flights, weather and logistics can all affect a journey, and I remain reachable throughout, not only up to the point of booking.
I work with a small number of clients at any one time. This allows the level of attention this kind of planning requires.
Travel is personal. The best journeys rarely begin with a hotel or a destination, but with an understanding of the people taking them.
Whether you are planning something specific or simply exploring ideas, I'd be delighted to hear from you. Tell me a little about what you have in mind and how you enjoy travelling, and we'll take it from there.
Planning arrangements vary depending on the nature and complexity of the trip. This is discussed clearly at the outset, before any work begins.
Yes. Flights can be arranged where appropriate, alongside accommodation, guides, transfers, experiences and the wider logistics of a trip.
I remain involved while clients are travelling and can assist if plans need to change. Where relevant, I work with trusted local partners, hotels and suppliers on the ground to resolve issues as quickly and smoothly as possible.
As early as possible, particularly for peak season travel, specialist guides, family holidays and destinations with limited availability. Shorter lead time requests can often still be accommodated where availability allows.
Africa is a particular area of personal expertise, having spent several years living and working there, but I also plan private travel more widely across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, the Americas and beyond through trusted partners and firsthand experience.
I am best suited to thoughtful, high quality travel arrangements, where personal planning and detailed management add real value.
